Photography isn’t just what I do—it’s how I help people see themselves the way they deserve to be seen. I know what it’s like to struggle with body image, to feel unsure about how to exist in your own skin, and to think you have to ‘fix’ yourself before you can feel beautiful. That’s bullshit. You are already enough—right now, as you are.
At Empowering Studios, my goal is to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself, no judgment, no expectations—just you. Whether you’re stepping into a boudoir session to reclaim your confidence, celebrate a new chapter, or just do something bold for you, I got you. I’ll pose you, hype you up, and make sure you leave feeling like the absolute badass you are.
And if I ever have spare time (which, let’s be real, isn’t often), I’m probably off taking selfies. That’s actually how this whole photography thing started for me—my siblings never wanted portraits, so I’d take the weirdest selfies I could instead. Back then, it was just me trying to express myself however I could. Now, my selfies are a little spicier, but at the core, it’s still the same—photography is my way of showing up, owning my space, and embracing exactly who I am. And that’s what I want for you too.
So if you’re ready to see yourself in a whole new way, let’s make some magic together. And don’t worry, the most awkward part of this experience? It’s probably just gonna be me. 😉

Hey, I’m Summer!
I’m your spicy, sweet, and just a little salty photographer—basically, the whole damn spice cabinet. I’m based in Tennessee, but you’ll also catch me shooting in Northern California because my hometown will always have my heart.
Meet our Studio Admin, Timothy!
Timothy has been an integral part of our boudoir studio since its inception. With a keen eye for detail and a logical mindset, he ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From assisting with social media posts and emails to being a significant investor in our growth, Timothy's contributions are invaluable.
His meticulous nature guarantees that nothing is overlooked, making him exceptional in his role. Moreover, Timothy isn't afraid to get his hands dirty—literally! He often helps with lugging around heavy equipment, ensuring that every shoot is set up perfectly.
Timothy's unique perspective and unwavering support have been a cornerstone of our studio's success. We are grateful to have someone as dedicated and versatile as him on our team.
On top of all the admin tasks he takes on, he also brings a special kind of love into the business. He adores animals and can be so creative and goofy so that helps bring some of the fun back into the business side of things!
If he isn't helping the studio, he's working his full-time job, gaming, or trying to domesticate one animal or another!
